I LOVE the management the app does on the monsters. The app is solid - minor bugs here or there, but nothing game breaking - really good for a launch product. I like how differently the characters play. I'm also on the 5th mission (and at least one of your summaries sounds like something I haven't done - interesting) and I agree - it's really fun, you get a lot of good gameplay out of it despite the cost, and it's a table hog (although I'm not sure it's more than KDM or the other big lifestyle dungeon crawlers, and at least it packs into a reasonably small box by the standards of the genre). If you want, you could try zenithal priming for a more drastic effect using two primers - one dark as the base, and then white from the top. Keep sneaking off from other responsibilities to play a turn or two. Long version: pretty bad marketing for this game, but after watching some videos and reading positive things on BGG I took a chance, and I love it.
